Empowering Local Communities

Happiness doesn’t result from what we get, but from what we give.

Making an Impact: Serving Kids, Families, and Communities

  • Creating Hope for Wish Kids

As Chair of the Emerging Leaders Board for Make-A-Wish Oregon, I’ve had the privilege of helping AAHOA donate over $200,000 to grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Additionally, I facilitated the donation of 60 room nights for kids and their families traveling for their wish, ensuring they have a comfortable place to stay during their journey. Together, we are creating impactful experiences and bringing hope to those who need it most.

  • Building Trust, Fostering Community: PCCEP in Action

PCCEP is a group of 13 Community Members who are independent from the City and the Portland Police Bureau.

Our work, includes assessing progress in the DOJ Settlement Agreement and gathering input on the PPB Policies and Practices. We make recommendations to the Mayor and/or Chief of Police, under the settlement agreement, they are required to formally respond withing 60 Days.

  • Fighting Hunger, Feeding Hope

As a dedicated volunteer at the Oregon Food Bank, I contributed my time to preparing meals for families facing food insecurity. Using the USDA's standard of 1.2 pounds per meal, we collectively created 8,129 meals—equating to over 9,700 pounds of food distributed to those in need. By supporting this vital cause, I’ve helped provide nourishment and hope to families, making a meaningful impact on our local community. Together, we are working to alleviate hunger and build a brighter future for all.
